Albert Guarnieri is currently a Supervisory Special Agent within federal law enforcement, serving in personnel security matters for all of government.  Prior to joining federal law enforcement, he served in the Intelligence Community beginning in May 2000.  After September 11, 2001, Guarnieri was assigned by that IC agency as a representative to the White House where he served under President George W. Bush.  It was there in 2004 he was recruited by a colleague to join the federal law enforcement ranks.  As a federal special agent, Guarnieri served in Chicago and worked human intelligence and counterterrorism matters.  He also served as the Crisis Management Coordinator, Major Events Coordinator, Private-Sector Liaison, Active Shooter Coordinator, new-agent trainee, and College Campus Liaison during his time in Chicago.  He was promoted in 2015 and took on management roles in Washington DC in Private-Sector Suspicious Awareness Programs and Transportation Security before leading a national program in active shooter awareness, training, preparedness, and recovery.
